Contractor attended the highly-regarded Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada, for Pericles. After one full year, she was awarded the role of lead. After the show ran for 92 times, she was rewarded with positive reviews. The production was recognized as one of the most successful productions by Canadian critics.
